1. Germany
2. Australia
3. New ZealandI could understand Australia and New Zealand but….GERMANY????
1. UNITED KINGDOM 2.69
2. UNITED STATES 0.01
HAHA THAT’S AWESOME, to be fair, looking back through my dads family as far as we can go back we’ve always been English so that’s not a surprise
o1 — Ireland
o2 — Australia
o3 — UK
o4 — US
Ireland? Oh gosh, my first thought was of Colin Morgan… Help me someone.
1. Austria
2. Switzerland
3. Germany
4. Canada
5. Hungary
I’ve always been told my last name is German, but apparently it’s Polish. WHY THE HELL IS POLAND NOT ON THE LIST THEN?! It’s not even in the top 10!
- Ireland
- US
- UK
- Australia
- Canada
Haha, it pretty much drops off after Ireland, though. I suppose US is second because of Irish immigration?
Only in the unites states, you know why?
Because the only people with my last name are my actual family. It’s that specific.
- NZ
- UK
- Australia
- Canada
- US
then it’s really low in a couple of other places like china and can’t be found anywhere else
- Australia
- New Zealand
- UK
- US
- Canada
It’s super common so I’m not surprised at all.
- Spain
- New Zealand
- US
- Argentina
- Switzerland
Of course, it is Spanish. But I’m truly surprised by Switzerland. Another reason to move there.
- United States
- United Kingdom
- Belgium
- Norway
- Canada
I can understand the US, UK, and Canada. But Belgium and Norway? How?
The top regions are in the southern US. Welp. :I

- New Zealand
- United Kingdom
- Australia
- United States
- Canada
Hmmm, nothing surprising there…
- Ireland
- United States
- Canada
- United Kingdom
1. Switzerland
2. Germany
3. United States
- Germany
- Luxembourg
- United States
My name is double-barrelled, so…
Mum’s surname (I should explain that the name my mum uses as her surname isn’t actually her surname because she changed her name so I put in her original surname because that’s actually the family name):
1: India
2: United Kingdom
3: New Zealand (Is there a large Asian community in New Zealand?)
I’m pretty sure that some other Asian countries should be higher on that list than the UK and New Zealand but whatever xD
Dad’s surname
1: Argentina
2: United Kingdom
2: United States
Yeah I’m pretty sure this thing is really inaccurate (at least as far as my name goes) because I know for a fact that there are only a handful of people in the UK with my dad’s surname. And I have no idea why there’d be anyone in Argentina with that surname, or at least more people with that surname than in Asia xD
So apparently my surname has Hispanic roots and most common in New Zealand. Actually, it only lists New Zealand as the top country. I find this really funny because my whole family is purely Chinese, and all the other people I know with my surname are Chinese.
